The Queer Destinations Committed label seeks a destination's real and credible commitment to queer clients. Through our educational program, we raise awareness and educate to ensure that the destination and its value chain have human capital prepared to properly serve the community.

Being a Queer Destinations Committed brand or destination conveys and communicates a simple and honest message to the community: "You are welcome here and you can be yourself."

To maintain this distinction, all entities that obtain their Queer Destinations Committed recognition will be in a constant process of improvement and feedback. Our distinction serves as a mark of quality and a promise for those seeking a personalized and unique experience that is free from discrimination. 100% of the collaborators have completed the Hospitality Meets Diversity Educational Program.

METHODOLOGY

Honest and private feedback

The Queer Destinations Committed Distinction, seeks real and credible commitment from a government, destination, or company to the community. Upon completing the process, our partners receive a badge with a QR code system to gather real-time data that allows us to implement research methodologies to create more inclusive, respectful, and safe destinations.

This system also allows queer visitors to recognize the establishment as an LGBTQ+ inclusive place and provide honest feedback about their experience.
