At Queer Destinations, we created a list of requirements that according to international standards, entities, and destinations should commit to become Queer Destinations Committed. Through this Distinction, we help governments, destinations, and companies adapt their products and assure safety to all customers regardless of their sexual orientation and gender identity by training 100% of their employees with our online educational program “Hospitality meets Diversity”, which teaches everything from the history of the LGBTQ+ community to real-life case studies and how to provide the best possible experience to queer travelers and their own employees. While we can’t guarantee that an entire destination is entirely safe, we can assure that travelers will always be welcomed, respected, and valued among our Committed Entities.
